Pensions
As an existing or prospective employer you’ll want to ensure that you receive good advice and guidance when considering the auto-enrolment of your workers
At Pennine Accounting, we have the experience and expertise to help you choose a suitable pension provider, with schemes placed by our clients with Standard Life, Peoples Pension, Legal & General, NEST, Smart, and many others.
We will provide you with the features of each of the most popular schemes so that you can compare the flexibility, options, and costs. Of course, you are also free to choose any other scheme and we will be pleased to review this and help you assess its suitability. Should you require specific investment advice, or wish to explore transferring or merging any existing pension schemes then we will happily work alongside a suitably qualified financial adviser.
“I’d had a preference for doing my own payroll for years. When my staging date came near, I decided to pass everything over to Pennine Accounting. Now I wonder why I hadn’t done this ages ago. Payroll is now so easy for me. I just provide the hours and everything else is taken care of by them. Brilliant!”
Setting up a scheme is straightforward
Setting up a scheme is straightforward and once the scheme is in place we will ensure that you and your employees are kept fully informed of progress. Whether you commence immediately on or after your staging date, or decide to postpone commencement for a short time, your employees will receive all the correspondence required, ensuring that as an employer you meet your auto enrolment duties.
From the beginning of your workplace pension scheme, we will assess all your workers to make sure all those eligible join the scheme, and will calculate the required pension employee deductions and the employer payments so that the amounts are included in your payroll and listed on the employees’ payslips.
“Auto enrolment was something neither I or my employees understood – Pennine Accounting came to our offices and gave a short presentation to us, followed by a question and answer session. They even updated our employee contact details for us there and then so that payslips and correspondence could go directly to employees by email”
As an employer ourselves, we understand how important it is to have the right support when you need it. Workplace Pension schemes are here for the long term and therefore any employer will want to make sure they receive support to choose the scheme that best suits their business and meets the needs of their employees. We have the experience and expertise to guide you to choose a pension provider. Once selected, we will discuss your options for pension payments. We will need details of your employees and any existing payroll arrangements, and then you can leave the rest to us. Just email or telephone us for further information.
