A business is stronger, more sustainable, and able to give better customer service when it has a great team of people. If you have a business have you asked yourself how sustainable your business would be if you or a key member of your staff had to stop working for an extended period due to health?
You can arrange insurance to cover some health issues and to help contribute towards the cost of hiring a replacement on a temporary basis. However, it makes sense for a business to have contingency plans. If you don’t have enough people within the business then consider collaborating with other businesses to help each other out with some of the service or administration obligations. At Pennine Accounting we consider ourselves to be fortunate. We started almost 9 years ago, and have built a great team of people with good technical and people skills. Since reaching a team of 4 employees we have believed in the benefits of understanding each other’s duties and client responsibilities just in case one of us is ever unavoidably absent for an extended period time. Such an occasion has now occurred and our planning and preparation has proven to be very worthwhile and our team will continue to provide great customer service. Angelika, one of our very special people will be away for several weeks due to health reasons. We wish Angelika well for a speedy recovery and look forward to her return.
